Ahhar, cheers for the info. I'll keep an eye on my local dealer then.

Like the colour too, bit more practical than the Limited Edition Mk1 vRS!

Nice seats

Prefer standard VRS wheels

No DSG option

Colourwise I still think I prefer the magic black or blue versions

I didn't realise there had been a Limited Edition Mk1 vRS Octy, how did that differ?

Agreed.Those wheels are poor.

How come VW always get the GTI's wheels right?

Sorry if you've already seen it, but I've only just found this!

Only 500 available as of 1st Jan '09. Front seats are stunning!

nice seats indeed, finest bespoke hand stiched 'Italian Leather' which means I can now put down the brochure on the Alfa 159 !

I still think Skoda could have done more to this car though to make it even better and more individual but I guess that would have meant a higher price?

Nice colour - GORGEOUS seats.... horrible wheels. Look like ebay cheapo's.

wonder if you can buy just the seats!

Came with all the optional extras as standard (side airbags, zenons, heated seats, reverse sensors, double din satnav thing etc..). Only available in white, with white wheels.

Also they had a full WRC style anniversary vinyl kit covering the car, so it stands out a bit!!

Here's what they look like. Pretty rare...

I do like the seats, and thats about it.

I do like the colour of the car, but its a bit boring for a limited edition IMHO.

Those seats are lovely, shame I don't have a spare £20k available :(

The seats are stunning.

Unfortuneatly the wheels and the colour are both awful in my opinion.

This could have been so much better (in white....)

Not keen on the wheels either and, to my mind anyway, the colour makes the car look old fashioned, not something I have noticed in other colours.

According to the other thread on the subject, they've been sitting at Immingham docks for a month or two already haven't they?

:thumbdwn: Agree, the wheels look like cheap Halfrauds jobbies. The 18" VRS alloys look much better and are a damn sight easier to clean. Not freaked out on the colour either.

White would have been better with the new front lower splitter spoiler.

Like most limited ed's, they don't really put anything special on them, just a cheap way of selling models which are going to be face lifted or replaced.

VW didn't do that with the GTi ED30.

But they did give it an extra 30bhp and a better engine.

Steve

like the colour , like the interior , wheels look awful though.

Same here like the colour and seats but those wheels :thumbdwn:

I see Skoda are selling this and paying the VAT for you :)

Skoda removes VAT on new Limited Edition Octavia vRS

Now it gets more tempting. And if that link is correct, it would appear ton confirm that the LE is based on the 'new' vrs, i.e. it has the update centre console, radio and engine.

But they did give it an extra 30bhp and a better engine.

Steve

That was my point.
