Hello - a first time poster here so I appologise if the questions have been asked before but here goes :-

I'm experiencing a couple of problems with my 2003 Octavia 1.9 TD

Firsty with the rear wiper - sometimes after satrting the car the rear wiper activates when the control stalk is in the off position and cannot be switched off without a lot of switching the control to various positions (and swearing) the problem may not manifest it's self for several days before returning.

Secondly - the rear driver side passenger door lock does not respond to the central locking - either manual or via the key fob but is ok using the internal handle after which the lock may or may not respond but only for a couple of times.

Any suggestions would be appriciated

I've a notion the wiper problem is the switch, and the door lock part of the door loom. If a mod could move this to the Octy 1 forum, where people will know more from experience?

My Octavia SLXi 1999, rear drivers side door won't work with the central locking either, works fine when you use the internal handle. Odd
