replacement bulbs

Featured Replies

Hi, whats the general opinion on Halfords +50% and +90% H7 bulbs, quality, longevity and all that stuff ??

I wouldn,t buy from Halfrauds anyway and i only buy Osram bulbs for long lasting and quality.Sorry i know thats not much help.

osram and philips bulbs get the most praise on here, however i have used the ones mentioned above in my astra and did last a while but i think does say on the packet not recommended for high mileage cars??? Again the halfords bulbs did the job when i used them, but many members in the past few years on here have recommend philips or osram over the halford ones, hope that helps

This is the last time I'm going to post this special or people will start to wonder if I'm on the payroll at PB.

Well it was there this morning.

I must have broken some rule :D

See my earlier post on +90% Nightbreakers I definitely would not fit them to the low beam(H7) if you use your lights more than 25 hours a year. I had two sets replaced by Osram then changed to +50% replaced FOC by Osram. Customer service excellent:thumbup: +90% not so good:thumbdwn:.

I have phillips X-treme power on my dipped. Paid £22 inc delivery. I am in the car 3 hours a day commuting in dark and they are excellent.

Probably around 200 hours on them.

If/when they blow I would fit the same as they are sooo good compared to the standard lamps.
