saw my first facelift octavia and new superb today.

Featured Replies

new superb looked very nice from the side, not bad from the front and a little bit funny from the rear and the new octavia looks gash. the new front end really does look shocking on the car.:thumbdwn:

Where's the pictures?

Driven a new Superb - a 170CR Elegance with DSG. It's the dog's danglies. But the rear end has been compared with a Hyundai Accent of old. Comments ?

Have to agree with bengie that the new front end of the Octavia does nothing for it whatsoever, and think it would be a mistake to put the VRS out with that front on it (though that, ultimately will probably be inevitable).

Having said that, I was in my local dealer today and saw a white Superb in the showroom and it looked pretty good. Had dark tints on the rear windows - could almost pass as a limo !

I think the new Superb looks like a Renault from behind, looks great from the front IMO. Hopefully the Combi won't look so bad at the back as that is bang at the top of my 'next car list'

As for the new Octavia, haven't seen one on the road but saw one in a showroom recently. Looked OK but I won't judge until I see one drive by on the road.

A white Superb is a taxi and that's an end to it :P
