1997/R (so facelift) e36 BMW 328i Saloon in Boston Green

Engine

M52B28 2793cc straight 6. M50 manifold, big bore throttle bodies & remap. Circa 215bhp & 270Nm. Rev limit raised from 6100 rpm to 6600 rpm.

Transmission

Standard 5 speed gearbox. Clutch delay valve deleted.

Suspension

Standard "SE" type set up, 130k+ miles and very tired :rofl:

Brakes

Standard, 286mm front, 280mm rear. Ventilated all round.

Wheels & Tyres

BMW 'Style 30' 16". 225/50 Falken FK452s all round

Styling

Twin exhast as standard. Genuine M3 rear light clusters, genuine M3 clear side repeaters, genuine M3 clear front indicators.

Interior

Half leather sports seats. Full climate control, illuminated M// gear knob, M// steering wheel. Front electric windows.

ICE & Security

Alpine X100 head unit with 80GB iPOD source. Alpine bluetooth kit ready for fitting. Plenty of security thanks ;).

Performance

As standard: 193bhp/280Nm. 0-60 in 7.1s, 148mph. 30mpg.

Now: 215bhp/270Nm. 0-60 in 6.3s, 155mph+. 35mpg on a run, 28mpg average with plenty of hooning around.

Short term plans

Replace wishbones & powerflex lollipop bushes.

Replace brake flexis (possibly with fancy hose), Dot 5.1 upgrade.

Fix drivers door lock.

Fix boot lock.

Finish fitting alarm.

Finish fitting air horn.

Replace boot carpet (stinks of 'box oil).

Full service (bits already bought).

Fit hands free kit.

Full detail.

Medium term plans

Full replacement suspension with sport spec springs and dampers.

Paintwork correction.

Longer term plans

M3 LSD.

Replace interior for full leather.

Heated seats.

Cruise control.

Tidy bodywork: front end respray, odd little bit here and there.
