My engine cover's insulation has become pretty shredded due to the local harsh climate.

Does anyone know if the insulation is available alone, or am I looking at a new engine cover?

Hya - I didn't think it had any in the first place? You could go for the sound proofing stuff, not 100% on the links/part numbers but at some stage I fitted it to mine, hopefully the search will recover it

I fitted the SEAT surround sound insulation.

The sheet that is adherent to the underside of the plastic OEM cover has become a mess and is turning into fine green powder!:eek:

Dont want to stick the sound-deadening stuff I have as its bitumen and could become a sticky smoky smelly mess after a brisk run during summer....
