Really pleased with my MFD3, except it must have come preloaded with the V2 navigation software. Got hold of a V3 disc and loaded it tonight.

Sat out in the car for about 30 mins (and nearly froze my n*ds off in the process) waiting for it to load, expecting it to come up on screen to say it had finished. I gave up after 30 mins when the disc had seemed to go silent, so I hope it has fully loaded. Seems to work OK, and I can now use the postcode search function, which wasn't available before.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with loading the software, or should it say on screen when loading is complete ?

And how long should the loading take if I didn't leave it long enough ?

I normally put the disk in and then once it starts press eject, when you press eject it will say are you sure or do you want to be advised. Choose advise/notify and then the line across the bottom of the screen is a status bar.

No need to wait with it either.
