Apart from "June 2009"...Does anybody know of any specific date that the new 2009 Octavia VRS is due to be launched?

My local dealer has said that it will be more aggressive styling, lowered with flared skirts have new front end, meaning lights, indicator lenses, and grill also new dash in the form of sat nav, radio and new dials. The facelift model is based on the Superb.

Indeed, my money would be on you being right Richie (there's a first eh ) the "new" vRS's at the moment have the new head unit's and heater controls from the Superb, so the June Octy vRS will be the new facelifted model with 2.0T engines / 2.0CRD's and better alloy's, new aggressive bumpers, different fog's, sporty interior and a boot spoiler ...... just like the original Mk2 vRS was when compared to "standard" Mk2 Saloons.

The Dealer has probably not seen one yet, after all (to the OP) go and ask 3 dealers when the new Fabia vRS is due ....... you will get 3 different answers
