Front wishbone bush

Featured Replies

Just for interest, have a look at the difference between the standard front wishbone bush and the Whiteline one.

Interesting vid, nice to see just how much firmer some upgraded bushes make it......

Sorry if i'm taking this sort of off topic, but my car car has gone into the garage today for them to check over my front suspension as i have a knocking and the handlings all gone to pot.......

I'm putting money on them coming back to me saying the wishbone bushes are shot (either front or back) If this is the case then i will be upgrading to powerflex fronts and cupra rear bushes.

However, i have no idea about these things and therefore have no idea how many i would need to order of each type :o

Could somebody tell me; How many cupra rear bushes i need to order and how many of the powerflex front wishbone bushes i need to order to do both sides of the car? or do they come as sets with the correct amount? and is there anything else i need to order at the same time? Somebody break it down for me........

Cheers

Thanks for that LG's VRS. Much appreciated.

I have searched many times, this is how i became aware of the possibilty of upgrading the bushes in the first instance. I have read many posts on here regarding bush upgrades but all that i read mentioned upgrading the bushes to powerflex and cupra bushes, and part numbers etc, but, none that i read clearly stated how many of the said parts were required. I guess i used the wrong terms when searching......

Thanks once again, hopefully this garage will get back to me today and i can get an order in for the parts.

No bother mate, Wanst meaning to sound an ar$e by mentioning using the search. I just menat that if the link didnt help or you needed more info you could try a search.

Have fun with the upgrades.

Just had a call from the garage, rear bushes are knackered....... So i have ordered a pair of cupra rear bushes, and 1 set of powerflex front bushes.

Cheers for the links.

I take it the Whiteline bushes for the Polo would fit the fabia? Or would it just be better to fit the cupra ones instead. As I am assuming the Whiteline would be polyutherane and be a much firmer bush.

But they are bound to me more than the Cupra one which is more than capable.

I think SuperPro are about to release the front wishbone bushes for the Fabia/Polo. Mine are knackered but I'm going to wait for these to be released. I have already fitted their front anti roll bar bushes and engine mounting bush which made a massive difference to the way the car drives.

do these fit the Fabia then ?

The Whiteline bush in the video would yes, the video is titled wrong, its not a MK4 Polo.
