I don't expect anything for the car quicker than two weeks. If they haven't got it in stock, it'll have to come from the supplier, who could be anywhere in the world.

You are the only person I have come across in my time in the VAG workd who has anything bad to say about Awesome or Jabba. I've not come across Amber.

I would guess that you are just unlucky, and all your parts are having to be ordered in from the various suppliers.

As for 8 days, is that 8 working days? Or 8 days in general? If it's 8 days in general, than it's probably only actually had 5/6 days of the order being processed.

Ring them all again, or PM AwesomeSarah & JabbaLuke on this forum and hopefully they will be able to help you more.

Hi Steven

I am so sorry that you did not recieve a call back

I do not like it when the people here say they will call back and then they dont :(

But I must admit , at the moment we are getting shed loads of calls just now

It is very hard to do all of the calls , but a promise is a promise

If you ever need to call us up , you are quite welcome to ask for me , Sarah and I will personally take over the enquiry

I have checked up on the FSD`s for you now.....

The Eibach springs we have in stock awaiting the FSD`s but it is the shockers that is holding up the delivery to you

The FSD`s should be arriving with Koni UK today , and hopefully we could have themhere with us on Monday

The other thing I can do if you like is get Koni UK to deliver them direct to you and then send the Eibach springs out today from here too , that should mean (fingers crossed) you should get them on Monday

Is that going to be any good for you?

I am so sorry that you have not had the call and had to resort to posting up here

If I can help you with anything please feel free to PM me , I have 500 PM space available to me , and do endevor to reply to every one straight away

Sarah

Hi Stephen,

Apologies for your dismay.

I should imagine Carole rang you when you placed an order for a RARB to inform you that they were currently on back order (they were at the powdercoaters) and that we'd let you know when they arrive at Jabba.

I then recieved an e-mail from you yesterday, luckilly, it arrived just as the bars had turned up. So i responded instantly stating that the bars have just come in and will be sent out straight away which they were, by FedEX UK, stating that you should expect this to arrive today.

We've tried to keep you up to date through all stages of your order.

Thanks

Kev

Top responses from Kev and Young Sarah*. :)

To the OP, as Ddjswivel said, if you order something from a supplier, and it's not in stock, i would expect a 10 (working day) turnaround, or there abouts.

*Brownie points never done anyone any harm :D

sarah rang this am and was very charming and helpful....appreciated and thanks...

thanks also to kev hadnt seen my email....

amber saying de cat got to be made by blue flame and another week ish...

to be informed better of the situations would have sufficed....but hey ho..on we go...

Hmm, may have been worth sending a PM first to the companies involved. I have heard nothing but good things about both of them. Non returned phone calls are annoying though.

I do agree that it's endemic in the UK to promise a call or e-mail back and never to bother.

When all a person wants is to know what is happening it really isn't too much to call and explain the issue and keep them informed.

Still god on the Sarah and Kev for getting back to the OP and sorting things out

yup, i ALWAYS ring people back at work as its a pet hate of mine when people dont ring you back when they say they will

excellent that Awesome and Jabba posted on here pretty sharpish though

Still waiting on a return phonecall from Jabba from 2007 lol

i'm never using jabba again........they still havn't sent me my stickers:P

Whenever i ring up a place and they tell me they will ring back in for example 10 mins i will wait 20 mins then ring them back saying that i rang earlier, i know that for companies such as Jabbasport and Awesome that they are constantly getting enquiries and orders so things can get quite on top of them allowing the memory of saying they are going to ring you back to slide away. When i went to jabbasport a while back i know their phones were ringing quite consistently along with people coming in etc and E-Mails. The way i look at it with phone calls and them telling you they will ring you back the best way to go about it is wait for double the time they quoted to ring you back in then ring them back up. That way you keep the focus on them to sort out your queries rather than allowing their mind to wander and focus on the next customer than comes in or phones up.

I to am waitng on my Jabbasport stickers, been a couple months now  Come on Jabbasport you have a Duty to supply stickers to paying customers  hahaha.

I also agree that Companies ,(or there employees) are repeatedly not phoning back ,after saying they will,or not replying to emails which refer to purchasing items. There is no shortage of information on the media recently regarding Companies folding up. My answer to it is to be pleasantly surprised when I find I am dealing with a person who still has an interest in his job,and likes helping people, and make sure I thank him or her for there time and trouble. OK I am out of the rat race by age, but when working in an emergency service ,it was made clear what was expected of me.
