Looking at a mk 1 vrs. Been looking at the black and silver. Was going to check one out today in Birmingham, but couldnt make it, and its gone already!!! so must have been nice was only up for a day!!

Cheers for the guideance on things to look for, seem like pretty hardwearing cars...was looking on a 20v turbo forum, one guy had done 235k :Yikes: in a petrol, i was shocked!!

I'm looking to spend up to around £2200 to £2600 so looking at the higher miles, most around the 140k mark, ideally looking for a standard one.

I read the MAF sensors can sometimes cause bother on these engines, any advice on them?

cheers again :)

Lol, nice on the MAF :) wasn't sure if were possible to test them or whatever.

And I shall deffinately be checking the C/L. my 306 I'm driving at the moment the RCL doesn't work, and well tried to sort it, but to no avail. it worked when I bought it, but the key drained the battery uber quick. I got round to looking at it in the summer, and nothing at all from it, even after reprogramming it!!!!
