I'd like to get cruise control fitted to my 2004 VRS. I would take it to Unit18 to get it done but they are a long long way from me in Swansea, South Wales.

Does anyone know where in the Swansea, Cardiff, Newport area that can do it (and do it well!)

From what i've read - fitting it is reasonably straight forward. You just need VAG-COM to activate it within the ECU.

I'm also Swansea based - i'm happy to fit it myself but I don't know how to use VAG-COM to activate the cruise system.

when you gonna get a chance to use it in UK? only time i ever use it is in avarage speed trap even then i have to turn it off, cruise is cool in the states (no other traffic) not here though

In your opinion, of course. We have quite a large motorway network in the UK. It's useful there.

When I do Manchester-Glasgow, and leave in the evening after rush hour, it's often in use constantly for 3hrs. There's a use right there
