The first of the alternative theme colours is now available. You can click the link below or select it in the theme chooser at the bottom of the page.

This will be a trial before i start to introduce the other colours, which are planned to be, Red, Black, Silver, Yellow.

Please give constructive feedback! I am not going to change all of the images to suit each hue though, so some things may look a little weird.

call me old fashioned or colour blind but i like the green better than the blue.

but i like the red best of all - it goes very well with the remaining green bits.

As they're VRS colours only, how about Anthracite for the LE?

And can we have two different shades of yellow - lemon and sprint?

ive lost the 08 theme i was using and for some reason stuck on red and that annoying box thing at the top that keeps dropping down menus and crashing firefox :( can i just have the old blue 08 one back as when i pick it in the control panel i end up with red 09 one.

Must be a problem with you or something Paul. I can select 08 in Firefox no problem. I do agree a tad more delay on the dropdowns would make them less iritating when the mouse skips over them, but they certainly don't crash my Firefox...

As for the colour choices, great work!! Green still my favourite, but the blue looks very similar to my work Intranet colourscheme...

its not crashed so far today on this site but THERE IS NO BRISKODA 2008 theme i.e. the one i was using so i wouldnt have the annoying menus at the top.

Sorry Guys, the 2008 theme is no longer available, progress and all that! We want everyone singing from the same hymn sheet and we cant do that with most of you on the 2009 theme and a few on the 2008.

It will not be making a return, so i am afraid you will have to start getting used to the 2009 theme. I would try the menu again smstext, i have put a fix in place! I am also not sure about your FF crashing. All of the javascript used in the menu is very well tried and tested, its not something i hashed together myself! As you are the only person to have reported such an issue, i think its probably an issue at your end.

I dont want to hear anything from the colour blind either :P there are plenty of colours for you too choose from now lol
