Full Milltek - what a difference!

Featured Replies

I put a full Milltek (turbo back) on my vRS last weekend, done a few miles in it and first impressions are: WOW!

The lag is even more reduced and the car pulls much stronger and for longer than with the standard exhaust. It isn't loud at all (infact I think it's too quiet) so I might have to go non-resonated at some point but the car is so different. I am running a stage 1 Revo map which was on the car when I got it, so that's what my comparison is with.

Definitely worth it

Let's hope you don't get plagued with leaks etc ;)

Let's hope you don't get plaqued with leaks and break your heart etc ;) I thought i got on top of my probs but i can hear mine leaking somewhere again.

Sounds great Sharkie boy, I wouldn't go worrying about leaks until they happen, life's too short to go worrying about what might happen!

I'm sure it came with some sort of warranty to cover the unexpected anyway

Wish I had they means to put a full milltek on mine!

Trust me when the problems start he won't be thinking how short life is.

This is my 3rd Milltek.. what leaks are you talking about?

Where the exhausts join, no matter how tight the clamps they can leak. Also the movement of the engine can eventually pull them apart. Also my back box kept moving and twisting so i had to spot weld the joint to stop it.

The miltek on my last car was ok but still after 3 years the bracket on the back box corroded and broke off. IMO they are not worth the cost they are selling at.
