hi there peeps, i have an high pitch clicking noise coming from the engine when the car it is started. its not the alternator its something else.

its an octy VRS 2.0 tfsi 2006.

is anyone out there with an octy like mine makes the same noise? or the car suppose to be like that.

I can't say mine does that. It does make a variety of noises when opening the drivers door or after I've switched the engine off.

what about any other octy 2.0 tfsi VRS out there? does yours make this noise?

Can you hear it from inside the cabin?

Can't say I've heard that particular noise but the TFSI does seem to make a lot of peculiar noises.

nope i can hear nothing in that cabin only on the out side by the engine bay.

it might be nothing, but i just sounds not right.
