It's slightly dodgy though as although it rolls down the windows and unlocks the car it doesn't turn off the alarm, so if you open the doors it goes off! It's fine when it comes to rolling up the windows.

These window roll down features are essential in very hot countries.

Edit- Perhaps the ECU on the elegance has changed since rear leccy windows were removed and as a result this no longer works?

Hmm, its possible with them taking off the rear-electric windows - which I was annoyed about. My old Nissan Sunny 1.3GS had rear-electric windows for christ sake. Anyway, I will give it a try. If it doesn't work I will make a note and ask the service centre when I next need an oil and filter. Thanks for the response.
