Special tools to fit coilovers?

Just fitted my weitecs last weekend, as already said spring clamps, also a 14mm splinded socket, for the bolt on the hub which clamps the bottom the strut, and a 7mm allan key to remove the tops mounts. Be prepared to get fustrated with the car!

To get the old units off Des. The unofficial way to remove them is to slightly compress the OEM units which gives you just enough clearance to get them out.

Yes you do remove the whole unit but with the hub still connected there isn't enough room to get it out of the carrier so compressing the springs shortens the overall length of the strut complete so you can get it out.
