Which spray grease? Recommendations?

Featured Replies

I need a spray grease to lube my door hinges etc now that I've started doing my own servicing.

Does anyone know what the dealers use or have any recommendations?

Thanks

Darren

speeling!

I just got a tin from Decathlon for bike chains - seems to work fine on hinges and bonnett catches and the like but isn't the white lithium stuff which you can probably get from the likes of Maplin.

I use silkolene synthetic spray grease for a multitude of things, it's cheap enough and good stuff.

That white lithium stuff is awful, I'd steer clear of that.

Comma white spray grease with PTFE from most factors. Many uses including suspension bushes. A can lasts forever.

I use a motor bike chain lubricant :)

I forgot to mention, Opie Oils are a site partner and they sell the silkolene grease with a brisky / freedom discount.

Silkolene PRO RG2 Racing Grease
