Hi guys and gals,

Been a member for a while, but never posted. I own a 2003 vRS estate.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone on here has had problems with their car not starting. It's like it wont catch, then after about a minute of trying it, it'll work. Mines been doing it since I bought it in 2005 (its a 03 plate).

Noticed for the first time yesterday that the immobilisor lights started to come on while it's doing it.

Anyone else got this problem? Is it a common fault?

After 3 years I'd think it's most likely a loose connection somewhere.

My TDi's never done anything similar.
