Eeeek! Dropping fluid

Featured Replies

I've just come back from Halfords (who incidentally have a two-for-one on Comma wheel cleaning kits), and was about to start washing the car when I noticed a small puddle under the car. Clear, odourless fluid (which I assume is water) is running down the firewall, dripping onto the lower suspension arm and dripping onto the ground. The fluid is cool, so I'm assuming it's coming from the aircon or something. I'm running the engine at the moment with the aircon on full blast to see if it is the aircon (and if it is the aircon, to see if I can clear it)

Anyone got any ideas?

Suspect condensation (especially in this weather  ) on the air con...

A quick check that all your other fluids are at the correct level is probably best though! :D

Rob.

Mine leaves a patch every time I stop...always use aircon.

Almost certainly just condensation.

First time I saw this I freaked too. I parked facing downhill and sat waiting only to see a steady trickle appear from under the car.

Yep air-con , no need to worry! People before now have stopped me to tell me that my car is leaking fluid!

Thanks for the reassurance. I was worried there for a bit.
