K04 parts on eBay

If Bengie were here he would say " Don't do it you won't gain much with that setup".

I say its not a bad price so buyit now ;)

That is a good price :)

that will be snapped up quickly good price ;)

What by you :D

already got one ;)

What else would be needed to fit this? It does seem reasonable. Go for it:thumbup:

you would need a 4 bar regulator and remap and a custom made down pipe as that one wont fit  and away you go 280+ horses :D

Is the inlet manifold on the wrong side. How do you get around this.

looks a good price, forget the inlet manifold as its no different just right handed instead of left :)

4bar fpr isn't required at all, only if you want to run a stock S3 or modified S3 map :)

and for the record i'm not completely against upgrades like this i just don't feel it is worth while if its going to cost you thousands to do, if you can get the setup at a decent price and do most of the work yourself or get it done cheaply then go for it but please don't expect 280bhp+ plus from it as disappointment is never nice :)

The Octavia 4x4 has a twin cat exhaust system similar to the S3 so that down pipe could fit?

As Bengie says I'm not expecting 280+ bhp though.

i'd say that downpipe will fit the car but not sure on exhaust.

Are the cats on the 4x4 a different size to the S3 cats? Was thinking that the S3 downpipe would mate to the 4x4 cats?

but to get the most out of the map a 4 bar reg and uprated fuel pump are the way to go or am i wrong :o (why do all k04 cars run a 4 bar reg???)

280 bhp is a figure that is achevable with this setup it is higher end but has been done and figures seen on cupra r's and golfs

would it not be better to get a custom made dp to convert to single high flow cat to help achieve better figures

having said this there are other things you should look at also

1. lsd maybe peliquin

2. suspension if not already done

3. brakes if not already done

4. clutch (stock is fine but life expectency will decrease)

5. front mount if you havent already got one

6. decent tyres ( no point having poop ones)

im no expert in this field but have been doing some reading on this as i wanted to the same mod.....

and being 5 oclock in the morning i may be talking utter rubbish lol :D

no idea if the twin cat setup of the S3 is the same twin cat setup of the 4x4 and westallc the twin cat setup of the 4x4 as actually less restricitve than the single of the vRS ;)

not trying to argue about the power either but everytime i've looked i've never found a K04 setup to make that power, revo, jabba, superchips etc all claim 260-270 and even then its not all that common to see remapped K04 cars making 270's more like high 250's.
