Flash wash and new mudflaps

Featured Replies

Got the new mudflaps today and also my dry finish cartridge for my old flash car wash so decided to fit the new flaps and give it a wash with the flash system.

The flash system seemed ok on a cleanish car anyway and after using a mitt to rub in the suds i washed it off and then used the auto dry feature which seemed to make it more wet and showed up some areas which the wax has worn away on.

Finally finished with some autoglym aquawax and it wasnt till this point that i could see the results of the water filter in the flash wash system as i didnt have any water marks and the water i wiped off whilst using the AG and a microfibre left no marks.

That Flash wash system was so easy, but sadly they have discontinued wash and filter packs, due to lack of demand. I also found the gun didn't mix enough shampoo into the wash water.

Now snow foaming the car, and drying with waffle weave towel. AG SRP followed by Megs NXT, car loves the stuff.

the only thing i like about the flash gun is the filter to remove the impurities (live in hard water area) so i dont have water spots all over the car.
