Just some more details, when going about 60mph i can feel power surge dropping and then the car goes in limp mode and when stopped ignition off its back to normal for a bit and then shortly after it decides to drop power again. Its not burning oil, nor is it loseing water, it does`nt smoke and is not overheating. To put it in a nut shell " its pokey and then its powerless"

Please can you or anyone help

Thanking people in advance

Having the same problem wit my Octavia VRS. Long shot but did you fix the problem in the end

I bet that was just a hose holed or off somewhere.

I've got a full description of what happened on the Octavia tech page if you could have a look there. Checking all the hoses is my first job this weekend

Actuator, just replaced mine yesterday after cleaning turbo any replacing converter valve.

All working now. you can only but actuator from vw not Skoda they will try and sell you a turbo.

To test take pipe from converter valve to turbo and blow if you can keep blowing then its this causing the problem if you get pressure back the problem is either broke pipe in vacuum to turbo or converter valve. but if you tell a vw tech you problem they will say actuator.
