Bit off topic , chriskite you can use this link to resize pics ,Resize Images online good for posting pics of a decent size.

Thanks for the link fikes75, I have added it to my favourites  I'll take some more piccies anyway, might get them in focus this time.

Here are some piccies of the maxidot in action:

Well yesterday morning I set off at some ungodly hour and got to Autohaus at just after 9:00am.

I was greeted by the friendly person from their workshop telling me......their internet connection link was down and without it they would be unable to do the Dash pod swap.

I decided to wait around, however by 11:30am the link was still down and no sign of when it would be fixed.

So alas I had to leave with the old dash pod still in place.

I'm provisionally booked back in a week on Friday (20th) but until then no Maxidot :(

Have you got the old SKC on your spare key tag?

From what I'm told everything is now done automatically.

It used to be a matter of entering the code manually and then immediately they would get an email back containing the code.

Now it is done without the workshop ever seeing the codes - it automatically transfers over millage etc.

So I get the impression that wouldn't have helped the situation.

Everything is done automatically on VAS, if you have the SKC then there are members on here (myself included) that can do it for you. You could have carried on up the motorway to my house ;)
