TT Wheels

Featured Replies

This quaestion has probbaly been asked befor but basically

i was looking at a set of TT Alloys, i know they're 17" & 5x100

but was wondering would these just slip straight on so to speak? or will i have to make any alterations?

Cheers

Dave

Straight on!

WOO POWWWWWWW

yerpp straight on!!!

might sell mine soon! trying to get some fundage together for carmonas!!! :D

The alloys themselves will physcially fit. But they need to run 205/40/17 or 215/40/17 tyres on the Fabia. The standard fit on the TT was a 225/45/17 and these won't fit properly.

So 17s have to run on 40?

What about 16s and 15s???

17 - 205/40/17 or 215/40/17

16 - 205/45/16

15 - 185/55/15 or 195/50/15 or 205/50/15 - depends on the width of the wheel

Why does it depend on the width?

15" alloys come in loads of different widths

a 6" wheel stick to a 185/55 - 6.5" a 195 is better, but I wouldnt recommend a 205 on anything less than a 7". It just fills the width of the rim better - unless you are going for the Euro stretched look? I use to have 165/50/15 nankangs on a 7x15 rim - the stretch was HUGE!
