Hi,

My VRS Grill is starting to look a little scruffy - 800 mile round trips at the moment are taking their toll. Interestingly the paint on the bonnet and front is fine, just the grill.

So I'm thinking of a replacement - what would people recommend ? Standard chrome, body coloured (the car is Silver), mesh and so forth. I want something that will look good and if not factory standard then at least professional.

Interesting, whats the best way to paint it without it chipping like the chrome one does ?

Not sure, i just stripped the one i had before then sprayed primer (about 3 coats), a few coats of black paint and then a few of lacquer? There are many different answers on here
