did skoda do mudflaps to fit vrs?

Featured Replies

The title says it really. I get two massive plumes of spray off the rear of the car (up the rear of the car) in the wet.

Only for the front.

The rear ones can be butchered to fit though :)

They do them, but not for the vRS, as the rear bumper differs from a standard bumper. The dealers tell you that they don't fit. If you are handy with a craft knife, or clumsy with a Dremel ( like me!) they fit perfectly.

I am a complete muppet, but I fit them to the Skip in about 30 minutes, and they look spot on.

Yeh fitted them on mine. There is a "how to" on the site somewhere. You dont have to trim much off the bumper and with a sharp knife its dead easy to do.

I'm sure that I read on here that rear mudflaps from a mk 4 Golf will fit much better. I have a black Furby and I reckon it tales about 20 mins of driving to get mucky again after washing and polishing. I think mudflaps, especailly rear ones would help to stop it.
