Premium for a White vRS?

Featured Replies

Hey all, was just wondering if there was a Mk1 vRS out there with a nice white professional finish (Maybe the white that the Audi's are cruising around in now?) and you were in the market for a vRS would it give the car a premium? If any?

I.E How much more do you think the car would be worth if any at all?

Would say a 56 vRS with 30k miles on 1 owner FSSH (For arguments sake) worth £7.5k, would you pay any extra to get the same car in white?

Just putting a feeler out :P I'm guessing the general opinion will be the paint would add any premium, but also thought the idea of owning one of the only white vRS's would be worth something! :D

One more thing (No point in starting another thread)

Does your vRS give any of your passengers Motion sickness? Most of my passengers suffer from this with even normal driving. Most of the time it's when they're in the back (Limo tint on back windows having an effect?) but sometimes when they're in the front too? Just wondered if it caused this for anyone else?

I really don't think it would add a premium if a vRS was painted white. To be honest I'd avoid it and get standard coloured one. I think the only type of person who'd pay more for a white one is the type of person who wants the latest trend car and they'd probably rather spend their money on a white Fiat 500 or white TT, which ever was considered 'popular' with their friends ;)

I havent noticed anyone getting motion sickness in the car, but I do get it in some diesels.

Resprays always lose money come selling time. People don't want resprayed cars as it makes you wonder what its hiding.

I've also been told by rear seat passengers about the sickly feeling, It's probably sea sickness due to the ocean liner like handling. :P
