Paid a visit on Saturday.

Cheap to get in at £6.50 but I was a little disappointed to find the animals were quite far away behind high fences:( I really could have done with one of Scuffs 500/600mm jobies:cool: 200mm just didn't cut the mustard in most situations I found myself in.

I did manage to get a few images I was pleased with.

I like it there. The hotel (owned by Warners) is built next to the house that in "To The Manor Born". You can't beat a nice meal there, then a walk round the animals in the evening. Lovely.

Did St Thomas actually play cricket?

I thought he played 'a'Beckett', which was mainly a nocturnal game which involved catching strange looking wildlife, and imprisoning it/them behind high fences.

He was very succesful as we can see by your splendid photographic images.
