Hi all.

I'm organising a Briskoda club stand at the Chatsworth Rally show on the 6th & 7th of June. The Rally Show at Chatsworth set in the picturesque surroundings of the Chatsworth estate.

The club car section of the rally show is situated close to the rally stage in a prime position. It is totally seperate from the standard car park facilities.

The rallying is a competion event for the drivers with exibition drives in between & there are different catagories from old cars to new.

This is an excellent event with plenty of things to see & do.

Accomodation

Unfortunatly there is no camping available on the site, but some members are camping at

Greenhills Holiday Park - Welcome or have a look at The Rally Show at Chatsworth

PAYMENT

As we don't know the total number of cars going who will be going for both days, the best option is send a cheque made out to me for the full amount (no discount).

If we do get sufficient numbers of cars that pay for the two day pass to be able to claim the discounted weekend tickets, then I will refund any money on the 1st day of the event to the people who it involves.

I know there has to be alot of trust in this, but I promise I will be truthful & honest:thumbup:

If you are happy with the above and are definitly wanting to go please PM to get my details to where to send the cheque, Also giving me the following information: What pass you will be needing ie weekend pass or a sat/sun pass & how many will be coming with you (17yrs old & over).

I will PM you back when the cheque arrives & again when it clears & I will edit this post stating that you have paid

2-day passes (Adults 17 and over) up to & inc 10 cars @ £25

2-day passes (Adults 17 and over) 11 to & inc 30 cars @ £22

2-day passes (Adults 17 and over) 30 cars and over @ £19

Saturday Passes (Adults 17 and over) @ £15

Sunday Passes (Adults 17 and over) @ £20

I have the form, it will be getting filled in tonight. Looks like I could run two cars, or just register for the northern historic champ and run one on each day. Skoda to be sat, if they let me run, carnt see why not, where else are they going to get one from.

One of my kids dad's is driving in the rally (well he is a rally driver after all lol) so I best be there now I have promised him I will be EDIT that sounds bad. - i mean its one of the kids I teach!!!!!

If anyone is still interested in this event, then the deadline is only 8days away (15th April)

I set the payment deadline for today, but I overlooked the bank holidays over Easter & some have posted cheques off in that time. I'll put the deadline back to the sat 18th & that still just gives me time to get the payment over to the Organisers .

we staying on the west side of chesterfield in bricks and mortar! we're up making a week of it up north so will have lots in the car and no room for the camping gear - this is when I wish I had an Octy for more room!

I'm looking forward to Chatsworth again, been for the last 2 years, and will hopefully be there in a Media tabard, so will be trackside with my camera.

Nope, not a travelodge but a place near the A619 and A632 T junction on the Chatsworth Rd.

Would be good to clean the car for sure, otherwise it will be a quick power rinse at the local jet wash! Were travelling up on the Saturday but I guess you'll be at the show then?!

Whats the update then, has the application for the stand gone in and are we confirmed as having a stand by the organisers? Tickets out a week or so before I guess?

What else do we need to organise for this? Shall I produce a Word template for everyone to complete and print about their car to put in the car window on the stand?

Yes the application, all the information & payment has been sent In nearly a fortnight ago 1st class recorded delivery.

I have had comfirmation by letter from the organisers Friday that they have recieved the information & payment also telling me they will be sending me the club pack commencing 25th May:thumbup:
