Hi I have just bought a Favorit LXi Plus- 1993 one owner from new - 9000 miles!!! Always been garaged and MOT'd and serviced every year from new. Unfortunately it will have to sit on my drive cos no garage space!!! It will join my VRS WRC Occy, wife's Furby VRS, my Rapid 130 and Rapid Cabriolet.

I notice in the boot there is a plug in torch!! Was this an optional extra. It is quite chunky and is about 9 ins long in grey. Never quite seen ought like it before. Here's to some more Skodaring. Mel

I think the torch came on certain trim levels. As it's in yours probably the glx's and lx plus's. I'd be surprised if the torch battery still held charge well anymore having little opportunity to charge and being a few years old :-) Sounds like a good buy. Will probably try grab myself an immaculate fav when I move home away from the vandals and hopefully have a garage or driveway.

my grandad got one of them with his fav silver-line.

we than got it when we got the car, and its lived in all my dads octavias since. evan his brand new vrs has it stowed away encase a headlight blows.

Thanks for info re: the torch. Will have to have another look at it in the daylight. Another question for you informed lot. It has recently had a new battery fitted. As a result the radio has to be re-coded. I have followed the instructions in the book but no joy. When you turn the radio on it should say COD. My radio just has 3 dashes! It is a Blaupunkt Boston CC22 RADIO. It looks the part but would be better with Radio 2 blaring out of it! Have enclosed 2 piccies.
