You will need to get a fault scan done. A garage will do it for you (at a cost), or you might be able to get a member on here to do it for you...

welcome

Hiya.

If you post about your airbag fault on the Favorit, Felicia et al forum, I'm sure someone will know something. Also, any signs of the alternator overcharging, or a leaky windscreen seal would help out with the diagnosis process.

Hi

Yes this is one of the first signs of the alternator over charging

The radio is another one , then a smell

Be carefull as overcharging could possibly blow the battery

They are not expensive , so may be worth starting there

thanks fo all the help, however i have had the battery checked and alternator and thay both workin perfect its deffo not overcharging, i have my own radio in and its causing no problems at all.

i have looked or advise about this subjuct only and found that same advise so have already tried everything suggested even removing the battery to reset the ecu so as u can see im baffled?

next question is i read only that vw could be a place to take my car to for a diag check and it would be cheaper then skoda themselves? any ideas?:):):):):):):):):):):):):)
