I live in a reasonably 'nice' area but a while back, someone had nicked a pile of sand from outside a house.

A friend is having a kitcehn refitted and has binned the old applicances into a skip. Someone has stolen an old cooker and lawn mower from it. Again, it poses the question as to why you would nick someone like that!
