220 quid to spend a month

Featured Replies

my cousin is getting a company car soon, and his boss has given him and the two other guys in his team a budget of 220 a month.

with new cars being so 'cheap' at the moment surely there is gonna be alot to choose from.

just wondering what people would go for on this budget.

p.s he is abit of a c.hav if that helps

What's the score? Does it have to be petrol/diesel? Fully maintained? How many miles? Does it include the company's portion of the VAT?

Sorry for the millions of questions!

And also....

  • Is it 2+22, 2+24, 3+33, 3+36 etc for payments
  • Does it included breakdown cover. UK or European?
  • Does it include tyres?
  • Does it include courtesy car in the event of accident / breakdown?

Sorry but you have asked how long a piece of string is!

I am not sure lease rates have dropped that much tbh, even though new car prices are low their expected future value as sunk equally keeping rates the same. He might struggle to find anything desirable for £220 pcm inc vat.
