No indicator noise

Featured Replies

Hi peeps,

Today, going to work, my Fabia II 1.9TDI level 3 had no indicator noise when turning/indicating left or right. The dashboard light was still flashing as was the actual light itself (I saw a reflection on another car).

Anyone else had this problem?

I bet it's one of the 'comfort' settings that's gone awry (either that or the sounder's failed...) Try either disconnecting the battery for a minute or two, or if you can find a likely candidate in the fuse box, just pull that...

Hi, an update

The next time I drove the car, the inicator noise was back.

Spurious electronics fault most likely, then! Anyone would think your car had been built in Italy! ;):D

Did you have your seatbelt on? I've noticed when moving my Octavia that if the seatbelt bonger is bonging then the indicators don't tick as I presume it's the same sounder.

Yep, seat belt was on... did 43 miles.
