looks very nice, especially the seats and that new dashpod.

Not sure if its my eyes or not but it looks a bit high off the wheels on your pics. have you checked the dealer didnt leave the transit blocks in the suspension? (or it may be becuase youre on the kerb)

it would look really stealyth with a colour coded grille :D

think it's got to do with the way i left the car on kerb ( half on payment and half road)

Saying that i do hope they have taken the blocks off lol:eek:

edit: just been out to look at and it defo doesnt have the blocks. But no springs on the rear dampers :s it looks like the spings are built in the damper

I am in love with those seats:orb_love_

But may i be honest, i'd prefer the Zeniths ... is that being envious ??? :orb_blah_

I can't wait to find a wrote off LE so i can get those seats......

Treanors, here i come !!!!

Nice car!

Like: colour, rims, HU, rear spolier.

Dislike: steering wheel, gear knob.

So and so: are seats bicolor? Don't be so keen of that lighter colour.

yeah the seats in the middle are a slightly lighter colour.

ah good, thought it might be my eyes :)

They have removed the kmph markings on the speedo?

Obviously not a major thing - but useful on those trips to France/Belgium.

the kmph is now shown on the mfd when the car is in motion

The kp/h comes up in digital format at the bottom of the maxi-dot, as shown in pic 5 and pic 6!

Hmm,

didn't notice it before. Would it be possible to upgrade from previous maxi dot software?

Good pics

Still not sure about the wheels and the steering wheel. Like the change in HU and the climate control unit most of all.

Steve

Good set of pics; excellent well done.

Interesting to see that the revised TSI engine looks as if it uses the same air filter setup as the 2.0L TDIs (inc vRS).

enjoy. :D;)

Ooooo sexy! :)

Want it on my "old" Maxidot

Really not digging the steering wheel. Weird how the gear know is the one from the Elegance not the normal VRS one.

Hmm, the wheels are growing on me :)

Needed to be 19" to have pulled it off imo.

lovely looking car that matey. really like the updated maxidot, must agree, im starting to come round to those wheels

Great pic`s and about time someone showed off there pride and joy... the car looks great ...cant wait for mine to arrive.....yes still waiting.. perhaps next year.. sickner!! :rotz:

but then you would need it to be lowered by more than the regular 10mm; wouldn't you?

I really wish you had not posted them pics....

All its done is reminded me......

1. How sexy that car is.

2. Mine still isnt here yet!!!!

Seriously though, that is a very handsome car, in and out!

What are the seats like comfort wise, they look like you would sit in them and fall asleep instantly?

I have to say that the seats are one of the best ive been in,in a long time.

on the second day of having it i had to do a round trip of 300 miles for the old man, the drive was the best on the motorway cruise control on and just relax. The pops even said when we arrived, we here allready and was reluctant to get out:eek:

tbh the wheels do really look better in the flesh, all the promo pics of them have made the rims look poor. The only thing i dont like is that fact cleaning them is a pain with so many spokes

Thats what I like to here!

What sort of economy are you getting out of it?

I see they realised the old TFSI airbox built into the engine cover wasnt the best design. What colour is that. looks quite cool, aslo your seats look the mutts nuts. I do like them.

Reference your rear springs. they are not built into your damper, instaed there is a seperate assembly(think its the rear wishbone) that the springs sit in. if you get your head behind the wheel you will see it.

what is the output of this new TSI engine. I s this the engine form the new mk6 golf gti?

also are they 17"wheels?

brown d9 = if i rag it and have some fun imlooking about 300 miles, if i drive normal ai roughly get about 350 miles. This is on petrol engine

simon= cheers i didnt think the springs would have been there. The rims are 18, as or the engine im not sure its the new mk6 gti one, as press have said thats 210bhp. The press on this car says its 200bhp but who knows, ill take it to revo for a RR and find out at somepoint this year
