Using Collinite 476s on alloys?

Featured Replies

On a related topic...has anybody else who has applied FK1000P to their wheels found that the brake dust was HARDER to remove? Seems to have stuck to it, took more agitation to remove. Before, a decent going-over with the power washer got rid of most of it.

Still looks good and beads well mind you.

I've no problem to clean brake dust after Fk on rims, pressure washer do the trick...

Finding good results from two initial applications of Klasse Sealant Glaze and maintained with a quick & easy application of Sonus Acrylic Glanz following each wash. Repels the brake dust and produces a great shine. As with Jetseal, it is mainly advocated for paintwork but works a treat on alloys.

I posted sometime back about how disappointed I was with Poorboys wheel sealant and Baker21 recommended Jetseal 109, which I duly purchased and I have to say it's a revelation. MUCH better. Brake dust comes off with a sponge, neutral detergent and warm water and it beads nicely if you dry it after cleaning.

It's just so much better than the Poorboys.
