Recommended Posts

I know this question has been answered before - but my searching skills are obviously lacking!

How can I check what version of Maps are currently installed on my RNS510?

To force a reboot of the Columbus you can hold the three top buttons < > and i

Sometimes the Columbus is booted up and running before you turn the ignition on.

Humm - I think I'm doing something wrong.

If I press and hold "Setup" and then switch the RNS510 on, it eventually get's to a menu where I can select:

AM

FM

DAB

As I press each of those it'll tell me signal strength.

I know the setup screens you all talk about - as I've been in them before.

However I just cannot seem to get back in to see if my V4 maps update has taken or not.

Use the < > i buttons at the same time.

As soon as skoda auto navigation appears, press and hold setup. Do not let go for at least 20 seconds.

Release button and a diagnostic menu should appear.

If the menu does not, then it could be the version of firmware on your unit (especially if its a B unit) might not have the option enabled by default.
