My New Wheels

Featured Replies

Got my nnew wheels fitted this evening after waiting forever for the center rings and bolts to arrive.

They are 18" X 7.5 with 37ET. I think I just about get away with the 37ET.

I know it could do with being lower, but I'm happy enough with is for now:)

They're GRAND; well done. :)

ET37 is fine on 7.5J. Its the equivalent of ET43 on 8J; I run 8J ET45 B14s and am perfectly OK.

looks nice that mate

they really suit the car, more so than other alternative alloys i've seen on vRS' :)

What is with the handicap parking?????

Fronts are sticking out too much John. I told you so :P

Working the evening shift so all where gone home.

The guy in Germany said the ET37 would suit the car better........

Anyway its not bad. The back looks great its the front that look to be a little wide.

In general I'm very happy with them. The handling is much improved since fitting them though:)

Don't listen to him; they're Perfik! ;)

You are only 2mm more outboard than my 8J ET45s; there is nowt wrong with them at all; OE fitment is far too much inboard for my liking. :D:thumbup:

Another set of SWEET wheels

Nice one!

I do think they look really great!

Bravo!!! :clapclap:

P.S.:Rim weight?

They look ok, but I actually prefer the zeniths...sorry :o

But hey, we can't all like the same thing or it would be a pretty boring world.

As for sticking out, they look fine to me.

Cheers

Damian

I know that with a tyre in the rim comes in at 22.5lbs

22.5lbs  That's bloody fantastic. Don't you mean kg. ;)

However, that's pretty good as my 18" B14s with tyres are 25kg; as are Zeniths as well IIRC.

Must mean Kg surely.

Wow, they're the first set of non OEM wheels I like on the Octi.

Sorry buddy, but I have to agree with Damo, maybe 19's would be better, each to there own though fella.

Don't worry about the outboardness (is that a word??) they are fine!

"Working the evening shift so all where gone home." Oh yes, I forgot, disabled people aren't allowed out at night are they. Wheelchair users get so sick of bay abuse. Look at space-d-out.co.uk

and it might some people think a bit. I was in Portugal recently with my disabled relative and I saw that the Authorities there fine abusers 1,000 Euro on the spot for it.

Thanks I'll post a better pic of them when the sun decides to come out again. They are in a brighter silver then the orignal Zeniths so they should look bigger...Plus they are lighter and believe it or not the car seems to be getting more looks with the BBS than the zeniths :-)
