Just been browsing through my paperwork for my car and I have a small notation from the Skoda main dealer saying that mine is No3 in the country??

I'm sure my old one was registered in August '03, it was on '03 plate one anyway.

BUGGER!! i dont feel special now... Actually before this thread i had no idea i had an early vRS, come to think of it i did see a 52 plate vrs in sheffield a few months back. Will this have been be one of the ex press cars?

Almost certainly as I was under the impression that the vrs was released to the public in 2003 on a 53 plate... could be wrong, though!

I would have thought it would be a private plate on a 52. There was a black fabia running round in Bristol for a while on VR52 FAB

Might have well been the 3rd customer vRS registered, but since obviously their press/demo cars have found their way onto the market, and have leapfrogged yours

Then yes indeed they were "close relatives" mine was GN03 KLJ. It is likely yours was also a Press Car

mines 17/10/2003 and been with one owner since then so 6 years same owner must have liked it

To find the true earliest VRS, you would go by the VIN of the car and that would show the build order as they come off the production line.

More 03's than I'd realised. Pretty sure anything earlier than 03 will be a private plate.
