Bluetooth audio streaming

Featured Replies

Hi guy's

Do any of you know how to connect a mp3 player by bluetooth to the columbus as the setting say's it's active but the source touch panel is dimmed out.

Tried reading the manual but it seems that it was translated from urdu to chinese to cheq to engish, and to quote "customer services" nothing was lost in translation.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.:confused::confused::confused::confused:

You will need an MP3 player that supports A2DP (basically stereo via bluetooth) However im not entirely sure if the MFD3 supports A2DP

TBH i dont think you need it i just load all my MP3's onto the MFD3 HDD you get way better sound quality that way than if you are doing it over A2DP

Copy the Music to the HDD not a CD and play it from there.

As i said im not sure if the Columbus supports A2DP

the Columbus supports it but the premium bluetooth kit you get in the superb (same as my passat) doesn't support audio streaming, you only get that strangely enough in the basic bluetooth preparation package on the octavia and the parts people are retrofitting to enable it

Edit: forgot to mention, if you've got MDI, plug the usb cable into your phone and enable storage mode and columbus should see and be able to play all the files stored on your phone, works with my N95 8gb
