Race Series For Skodas

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, but would like to invite Skoda owners to compete in our new Race Series, the 'V.A.G. Trophy'. This will kick off on July 11th at Cadwell Park.

Registration for the series is free in the first year (you just need to be a 750 MC member) and there will be 6 races at 5 different tracks.

All Skoda models introduced before the end of 2005 are welcome and we hope to attract :

- Modified Skoda road cars.

- Modified Skoda diesels (we are aware of some very quick Vrs models out there !) .

- Skoda track day cars.

If you already do Track Days, why not join other enthuiasts in a friendly and helpful environment and take things to the next level !.

It would be great to see a few Skodas out on track to represent the brand.

For more information send an email to [email protected] .

Regards,

John H.

would bite your hand off if i had a car that qualified, whats wrong with 2007 cars?

Models introduced before 2005 would say that if the model was first sold... you have a Fabia vRS, which was on sale before 2005 :)

welcome, looks like it would exclude me then :(

Hi,

You bare correct Babs - if the model was introduced before the end of 2005 and is of the same basic specification (plus allowable modifications - in the regulations), it's still allowed even if registered after that year.

Oilburninnut - we felt it would be best not to allow new, or nearly new, cars to keep the lid on costs. Hopefully this still provides the opportunity to race a wide variety of vehicles.

If anyone would like a set of regulations, then please email me on [email protected] .

Regards,

John H.
