Hi this is my first post so please go easy on me lol

I have a 04 plate vrs which has 39000 miles on and ive owned it from new with no problems till now my battery went flat now my drivers door doesnt work with the remote or central locking the little red light isnt working or the rear window cut out button and the drivers door mirror

they all worked fine till i flatend the battery is it possible the door needs programming in vagcom i have vagcom but im not sure how to programme the door ?

Do a fault scan ( a full car one if you can, if you don't have autoscan then log into the convenience and read fault codes)

These are similar symptoms to the ones I had when the central convenience controller had water damage.

Go into measuring blocks & output tests, see if you can see what's going on/where hte fault is. If the ecu needs resetting, disconnect the battery and short the CAR leads together (battery not connected to anything, as good as off the car) for a minute or so. This shorting of the positive and negative CAR leads flattens any memory in the ECU's. Then unshort and refit battery, see if it works.
