Strip the mods from yours if you still have the standard kit, they won't put any more value on the car.

Sell them seperate and make a few extra

Agree with Geoff, dealer advised me to do this when I nearly traded the Octy last year for a Passat 4motion but thankfully I thought for long enough for someone else to buy the Passat

Stripping off the mods on the Octy is definitely a good idea, as long as you are certain that the Superb is the right car for you.

I've had my Superb Elegance 1.9 TDi since 1st September, and absolutely love it. I previously had a Passat 1.9TDi Sport, and the Skoda beats it hands down. My only real gripe is that I couldn't have the 6 speed gearbox (which my Passat had), as I think it suits the 1.9TDi better than the 5-speeder.

Apart from this minor point, the car has been great. It's just as well built as the Passat, has many more toys as standard, and is soooo comfortable.

If you are coming from the vRS, you may well find the handling leaves a bit to be desired. For me, it's okay, as I just wanted a comfortable commuting car, but if you like a good blast down the back roads, it's not really up to it.

Bagpuss.

Re Handling on the Superb...

KW3's are around a Grand iirc ;)
