As Title anybody going? I'm going with the wife and my youngest.

Hmm - thinking about it. Was there this weekend for the British Superbikes and saw all the promo material. Might see if my old man wants picking up and taking out for the day...

you dont want to be walking round oulton with your "old man" in your hand phil, youre gonna get locked up:rofl:

I'm hoping to make this.

Got a contact who owns a Cartridge World franchise, so working on some freebies!

Weather permitting I'll be there :)

I'll be there with my mate.

A friend of his asked if we could take her child with us so we got him tagging along too. Showing the thrills and spills of BTCC action!!

There's some bits where you can get nice and close to the track , so it should be a good one to introduce kids to racing.

Do they have commentary over the radio like some tracks do? I can't remember.

I can't remember either but they have loud hailers all around

but you're right about about how they let you get close to the track.

Was my first time last year. Loved it!!! :D

So quite a few planning on going then. This will be my 4th year. In 2007 my ex-boss got his brother(ex motorsport manager for dunlop) to get me into the vauxhall garage and spoke to Giovanardi and his race enginneer. that was cool.

I'll be there.

Whats the cost for the race day? would like to go just depends on funds and if owt else going on.

Dan

It's £28 on the gate. Been the last 3 years wasn't going to bother this time but after watching the Donnington rounds today, think I will be now.

Dan

Yes it is me. Yes £28 per person + parking. Food & drink well it's extortionate tbh, best off taking your own.

Yes - it can be a bit patchy in some spots (notably on the outside of the track from Knickerbrook down to Foulstons (or whatever they're calling it these days - the chicane after Shell Oils Hairpin) but around the main square of the circuit it's usually pretty good.

i'm gonna be making my way up. I'll be hanging around the paddock and pits a lot outside of the BTCC races!!
