Yes it's a pretty slow road that... drove that way that eve into Halifax and was very annoying with people sat on my back bumper the whole way even through the 40's. Still at least it's not far for you!

Hope the new car is being enjoyed!

Thanks Phil, I have had the pleasure of driving it to work a few times now and it

is not as low on power as I thought it would be.

Also got the stereo set up to my liking, with plenty of base :)

Just need to sort out the MP3 side of things, and also need to wire in the socket

for my car when the weather is kinder :)

Jolly good!

Yes they're a decent little engine really... would be a bit nicer with a remap! Oops I said it! ;)

So what you doing in terms of the MP3 and what socket for your car?

Phil,

the fabia has one but I need to wire up the Octavia. It's a Stream MP3 and I have the cable.

Just need the inclination to sort it out and swap over the earth wiring for the 6 CD player :)

Hehe... Know how you feel. The hardest part doing jobs on the car is finding the motivation to start!

  • 3 weeks later...

Well, is this on for tomorrow or not?

We will be there if others can be bothered :)
