would a 14lbs steel wheel give me gearbox rattle?........ any?........ even a smidge?

as im easily upset with none stock noises lol  id be trying to hear it to be un impressed

cheers guys

I hear they can rattle quite a bit, the lighter they are the more they rattle. I would like to know how bad it is though. Another option would be a heavier single mass jobbie.

Awesome sell the ECS kits which have different weight options for the fly. Lightest is the 14lb and yes it will rattle a little so you may want a heavier one.

thats what i was thinking

they offer a 22lb wheel that they say give no....none.... zip :D

i was told by others that a 14lb wouldnt with a 5 speed, but ......

just but.......

a but that would drive me insane

Not as bad as on a diesel I imagine. Not sure what Des' rattles like with the 9lb lightweight SMF

Iirc the Five speed box isn't half as bad as a six speed, something too do with the rods inside. Five speed has two, six has three. Third one causes more rattle.
