F1 teams leaving

Featured Replies

The only problem with Ferrari leaving is they are under the FIA's "concord" agreement that means they have to enter the championship until 2012.

If the rest do break away into another championship, then what are they going to call it? Why not "Formula Teddy Out of The Pram"

Of course Formula One will survive without Ferrari, but it won't live without Ferrari.

It's quite a poker move to play.

I dont think it will actually happen. We'll have to see what the official 2010 entrant list says.

IF it does, Bernie has a bit of a problem on his hands as his contracts stipulate a min 18 car grid.

I dunno which party is more to blame.... its a mess..... i can see the rest of the season being cancelled....or something

There was talk of a strike at Turkey. Lights go green, they all get out and wander to the pits.

Talk of it happening is still doing the rounds. More likely once Jenson's got the drivers championship done.

Only 2 original teams staying. The sport has lost its magic since the manufactures came in and brought the money. Bring back the days when you could have two top drivers in the one team, ah Senna and Prost. Let them go and get back to where we should be but

we all know this wont happen as there is too much money to be made. Maybe we could all switch off at the start of a race to sent them a message to sort out this crap.

The full FOTA 2010 schedule, as published in The Guardian, is as follows:

BREAKING NEWS

In the last few minuets an announcement has been made. A solution has been found to this row, there will not be a breakaway series, F1 will go ahead and be the only series.

Adrian Newey's done quite a job on the RB cars after their new updates. Looking at this histroy with other teams and their wins, I wouldnt rule out Vettel giving Jenson a really tough time for the remaining races.

Vettel looks good and Newey got that Red Bull flying
