are any of you aware that a saftey notice has been issued from skoda to all dealers about the fuel filler neck. took my car in to michells in chester to talk about bluetooth audio streeming function on the columbus ( patch update comming).

As we were talking he said that a saftey notice had been issued and a part needed to be fitted on to the neck of the fillre pipe would only take 1/2 hour. Sure enought it was, all it looks like is a lip that stops the exess dribble( she refused) when you pull out the fuel nozzle.

Anybody else out there also heard of this.

Is it a recall or simply a dealer bulletin?

Hi FocusZtec, all that was said was that a saftey notice had been posted and will be sorted under "recall warrenty" i don't understand this myself:confused:
