Purchased a Fabia vRS!

Featured Replies

After nearly a year of sulking from selling the Ibiza to buy a house and having two cars that I wasn't particularly happy with (MK3 Golf GTI and MK6 Ford Fiesta Zetec S) I found my balls and purchased this baby from Skoda in Beckenham...

Its a 2006 06 Fabia vRS in Black Magic :)

Test drove it almost three weeks ago and was amazed at the power! (Golf was 115bhp with some torque, Fiesta a measly 100bhp and no torque) I fell in love straight away and put a securing deposit so nobody else could buy/test drive it.

The days leading up to today were spent putting the standard springs back on the fiesta and standard cd player back in and selling it... yesterday was mission accomplished!

The drive to Beckenham took almost two hours but the drive back only 45mins... work that out!

Anyway, I will probably keep it standard for a while but in the next month its getting a full detail by TnS Detailling (same chaps that did the Ibiza) and some colour coding.

Proper pics when the weather is nice! :D

Nice

Tidy :)

Always a good choice in my opinion.... Had mine for just over 2 years now.... lovin' it :)

Hi Ad lav

I have also just got a 06 plate Vrs with 13K on the clock whats your mileage?

Thats the GTi 8 valve. The 16 valves are a total different car (They're 150bhp incase your wondering)!

As aalready said over on SCN, good to see you back in a VAG motor Ad :D

Another VRS convert! Great.

The vRS interior is alot better, seats are more supportive and leather/dash parts etc all seem more upmarket!

Cheers Damo! :D

Recognise the Ibiza used to see it around town, I had the yellow arosa (thats if its the same one).

I do remember a very phat arosa kicking around - must have been yours?

Yeah sold that in the end and spashed out on a VX, which I only had for a year. Got to save for a wedding $$$$$$, hence the VRS. Good choice you will love it. Similar to the Ibiza I suppose, but with the better interior as you mention. Its like rehab at the moment no mods.

lol :)

I might get away with wheels and coilovers...

Congratulations! I had my Fabia Vrs for nearly 4 years, it was a brilliant car.

Great choice :)
